Selecting a Michigan Personal Injury Attorney – Part 2

Question: Do You Limit Your Practice to Personal Injury Litigation?

Watch Selecting a Michigan Personal Injury Attorney – Part 3

The first question I think you should ask any lawyer who you are interviewing for your case is, do you limit your practice to personal injury litigation?

The reason that’s an important question goes back to the first topic. In Michigan, anyone can say that they are a personal injury lawyer. It doesn’t mean that they limit their practice. It doesn’t mean that they’ve ever handled a case all the way to trial. It doesn’t even mean that they’ve handled your particular type of case. But you want to find out, do you limit your practice to personal injury litigation?

At Thomas Garvey and McKenna our lawyers handle personal injury claims and 3 or 4 of us do limit our practice to that. We don’t do anything else but personal injury cases. So that’s a very important question to ask any lawyer or law firm that you are interviewing.
